The NSW Government has released the 2024 Road Safety Progress Report, outlining how the Community Road Safety Fund is improving road safety in NSW.
In the report you can read about some of new initiatives which have been introduced to improve road safety as well as some of the fantastic work delivered this year under the Local Government Road Safety Program and Road User Safety Behavioural Program.
NSW recorded a total of 340 road deaths in 2024. This tragic number of deaths and serious injuries further reinforces the need for a collective commitment to road safety across society. We can all do our bit to help make our roads safer, ensuring everyone arrives at their destination safely. By working together and the NSW community, we will continue to progress towards reducing road trauma to zero.
