It’s now easier than ever for local councils and road authorities in NSW to run shared e-scooter trials.
We’ve improved the application process and removed red tape following local council feedback. This will make it easier and faster to run trials, while managing safety risks and protecting riders and all road users.
This is your opportunity to participate in the trial with other local councils across NSW. There have been almost 300,000 e-scooter trips completed in trial areas over the last 2 years.
Register and attend the online information session at 9:30am Wednesday 24 July 2024. You'll hear from Albury City Council and Wollongong City Council who together have delivered enough shared e-scooter trips to travel around Australia over 17 times!
The session will be aimed towards local councils, but road safety practitioners are welcome to attend.
