With less than a month to go until this year’s National Road Safety Week (NRSW), there’s plenty of ways to get involved.

NRSW runs this year from 11-18 May 2025. It’s a time to remember those who have experienced road trauma and pledge to share the responsibility of making our roads safer for everyone.

The annual illumination of landmarks across NSW turning yellow is planned again for sites including Newcastle City Hall Clock Tower, Forbes Town Hall, CommBank Stadium and Cootamundra Cenotaph.

Coinciding with NRSW is Walk Safety to School Day (WSTSD) on Friday 16 May. An initiative of Pedestrian Council of Australia, WSTSD is an annual event encouraging all primary school aged children and their families to walk safely to school. For more information about WSTSD, visit their website.

Get involved!

Check out the creative assets to support your local NRSW community engagements in the communications toolkit and share the daily posts from the NSW Road Safety Facebook page.
