We’ve published the 2023 Road Safety Progress Report outlining initiatives that the Community Road Safety Fund has supported to improve road safety in the past year. The report showcases fantastic work delivered under the Local Government Road Safety Program and Road User Safety Behavioural Program.
Since 2013 (when the Fund came into effect), every dollar from camera detected fines (speeding, red-light and mobile phone use offences) has been put back into road safety programs across NSW.
With an increase of fatalities on our roads this year, we’ll continue to work together to reach our goal of zero deaths and serious injuries on NSW roads. We can all do our part to help make the roads safer and ensure everyone arrives at their destination safely. With the help of our road safety partners and the NSW community, together we’ll continue to progress towards our goal of zero deaths and serious injuries on NSW roads.

We remind you to continue capturing your engagements throughout the year (and gain appropriate photography and media release permissions) so they can be included in future reports.
